If they buy rebuttal in lane, you don't totally quit, you sorta keep poking but like, half-heartedly. The item's lame, more of a weak ahh umbrella than a shield for the enemy, but you still jab them a little, not to win, just so they see you didn't run. You act like you're not scared, even though your insides are like "maybe a bit," then you shrug and keep walking like nothing happened. You show them, even in hard times, you are the Alpha.1 items
