Seven's gun is very good, especially early. Power Surge is also very good. Simply shooting people with OP hero = win. Why bother pressing 4 when you can shoot them with your gun. We do not care about our Ult; use it to defend walkers solo or if you run out of ammo in a fight and need just a bit more damage.
