While picking off people out of position while alone is viable, this build is meant for roaming and teamfights. Combo got nerfed into the ground so its not a reliable tool to secure a solo kill; you're better off using it to ensure your team finishes off a priority target. Make the enemy respect your presence in a teamfight, and try to be as flexible as possible when you are inevitably countered by actives that they end up building.
