The following is a short guide on how Venator's Gun Damage Scaling abilities work. Consecrating Grenade has a 1.2x weapon damage ratio, and Gutshot has 1 + 0.9 for a 1.9x. Base bullets scale with weapon damage like such: take your base bullet damage, and multiply it by % weapon damage. Eg, 10 Base and 50% weapon damage is 10 * (1 + 0.5) = 15 bullet damage. Venators abilities instead convert your weapon damage into a flat number, then apply it to the ratios of his abilities just like Spirit would. I call this "Gunrit". Gunrit is extremely easy to get cheaply. Venator's ratios would be middling0 items

on a spirit hero, but with how cheap we can get it it turns Venator's abilities into the best scaling ones in the game. For example, 100% weapon damage is 85 + (1.0 * 100) + 30 + (0.9 * 100) = 305 damage on Gutshot. We can get 124 Gunrit at 4800 Weapon investment with the items in the first category. Any spirit hero able to buy that much spirit at 4800 would be busted; this is what makes Venator so incredibly strong. - Lovingsnek0 items
