Description

Paige has read the FM 7-10 Rifle Company, Infantry Regiment tactics (18 March 1944) field manual and is ready to apply her warfighting knowledge against the enemy in a variety of combat scenarios. Neutralize mobile and static enemy elements by way of superior fires. employ flanking to bypass, fix, and eliminate defensive positions as needed. Employ her superior firepower to control the battlefield and assault static fortifactions such as guardians and walkers.

OptionalWhen the attacking echelon has progressed as close to the hostile position as it can get withoutmasking its supporting fires, these fires lift and the assaultis launched. If necessary, the company commander causesthe lifting of supporting fires by giving a prearranged signal,or estimates when the attacking units will be ready to assaultand arranges with the battalion commander for these fires tolift at that time. When supporting fires are lifted, assaultfire may be employed to prevent the enemy from manning hisdefenses. Supporting weapons cover the assault by directingtheir fire at those adjacent and rearward hostile elementswhich are able to fire on the assaulting troops either duringthe assault or after the position is captured.
