"Rock Solid":

Ivy from my experience feels like the generalist of Deadlock. While yes I would say she is a support character who can dish out a lot of healz and CC, she also has the ability to pivot to many different playstyles depending on what her team needs her to be. She is my favorite character to build for because it feels like she has the ability to fill any slot your team is lacking in. Shes a healer hard support, Shes a spirit dps support, Shes an M1 shredder, She's both an ability and gun character, and She's the savior of Spanish Harlem!!! ^w^ It is up to you as the Ivy player to take the stone you're made of and shape it into the slot that will best support your team! >:3 That's honestly why there's so many items in the build -3- A remnant of Ivy's design as a 4 lane hero is the fact she has a lot of utility at her fingertips and is jack of all trades able to hold her own by herself, while also being made 10x better with the support of an ally! ^w^0 items

Game Plan:

Invest in egg first item, let your teammate know to hold off until you get tesla bullets. Use your abilities and gun to shoot minions and deny souls. Extra Regen is skippable if you're doing really well and can just get by with tier 1 stoneform. RUSH TESLA BULLETS!!! you are the tesla bullets character. Once you get Tesla Bullets and a second tier 2 gun item for 4.8k gun spike. Start building your greens, Healing Booster and Healing Nova can get you by for a bit as they get you to your 4.8k Green spike! On the topic of Healing Tempo, it is literally Ivy's best green if you build it right. A lot of Ivy players often say, "Only build Tempo if you have M1's that need firerate." Neglecting the fact that Ivy has one of the best guns in the game. It's so good people often buy Disarm to counter me specifically. It is an Item that literally boosts all aspects of Ivy no matter what type of build you are going for and turns you into a walking Quickfix medic from TF2. Only this Quickfix med has auto attach medigun, and a gun! You can spec into other items before getting healing tempo, but I find stalling on it for too long often leads my team to get snowballed from a lack of healing. With healing tempo, a friend, teslabullets and maybe some spirit items. You absolutely shred objectives!0 items

Ability Point Order:

Stone Form first because it's good heals, parries a lot of attacks and you should be focusing on denying souls with your gun so that the enemy can't have first upgrade! Kudzu Bomb or Thorns is next, if you need to spend the ability point on Stone Form to keep yourself alive so be it, but having 2 sets of thorns to help make up for the difference of egg is very nice! When Kudzu Connection is up remember you can chain it with Stone Form to heal your friends, that's why we upgrade Stone Form to tier 2 from here as to more easily spam heals for ourself and our teammates. Your Ult is next, we spend the next upgrade point on it because the barrier your teammates get from getting grabbed is a useful tool to keep them alive during sticky situations in lane. Now we rush Kudzu Connection! ^w^ It's around this time you'll be able to buy more greens that you'll be able to share the healz with your teammates! Stoneform gets upgraded next because the extra stun time is amazing, especially when you have the ground covered in barbs!. The next path is up to you! are you getting more value out of spamming ult? Or, do they have a team that groups together and stays on the ground? Of course, Ivy is a very flexable character so if you want to change the upgrade order to fit your playstyle or situation feel free!0 items

Midboss?:

Are you guys doing it? you should absolutely be down there. You heal and if you have Heal Tempo, provide a firerate buff to whoever is helping you shred Midboss. Thorns also great in pit, especially if you have Alchemical Fire to stack on top. You can also stoneform on top of it as security against enemies and most Ults. Are the enemies doing it? How Many of them are doing it? 2-3? If you have upgraded stoneform range and stun you could probably yoink 1-2 of them. Ult in and drop your bomb to trigger anyone's indom and then sit on that bitch. Works really well if you grab a friend and rush down there with them!0 items

buy order:

normally goes, egg first, extra regen, eat egg, Tesla Bullets, Titanic Mag, Heal Booster, Heal Right, Heal Nova, Heal Tempo, and then the rest slots in as you need it in the match, asses your team. Do you need more healing? Does your team need an M1 to actually do damage? Does your team need you to spam counter items? Do you have a friend to just constantly drop on people? Does your team need anti heal? Ask yourself or even ask your team what they're struggling with and how you can structure the items you buy to help with that! :30 items
