Annotated Breakdown! What is Rem's Playstyle?
Rem is an Invading Support who specializes in disrupting the enemy team's farm, movement, and abilities while healing and protecting teammates. Rem's main pressure is the early to mid game. With this in depth explaination, you should win lane under 9mins EVERY game. Once you've (hopefully) won laning phase, Rem has the freedom to roam around, stealing camps or supporting other lanes.0 items
Pillow Toss - How to Toss a Pillow filled with Bricks 101:
It's a pillow that does a LOT of raw damage. Landing hits will reduce the cooldown of your other abilities. Very good at spamming and constantly displaces enemies by knocking them around. Enemies will have a -45% decaying move speed when hit. At level 2 it gives enemies a -35% fire rate. At level 3 it gives you an extra pillow and does 100 more damage. Overall it's good a burst people down and messing up their movement.0 items
Tag Along - Rem's Most OP Ability:
Tag along is crazy overpowered with actives. TAG ALONG ENCHANCES ACTIVES by 35%!!! You'll get more value when you use actives in Tag Along. This is YOUR sustain. You should rarely ever die around teammates! It will also save teammates. The importance is the burst heal when teammates (or you) are on low HP, you'll get more value. Be careful using it when a teammates is about to die, you could just be knocked out. You will also be knocked out if somebody Ults or Stuns the teammate your Tag Alonged to. Tag Along is your only "out" of a fight and Rem will die if alone. Stay around teammates to taxi you out of trouble. He is not meant to 1v1 at all, though is very do-able. At level 3, you'll get a spirit damage spike similar to the item Boundless Spirit.0 items
Lil Helpers - Most Unqiue Ability in Deadlock:
You will want to start with and level up Lil Helpers to Level 2 immediately!! Place these on Troopers! This will apply constant pressure to the point where you can take first tower extremely fast. You'll get more value placing a Lil Helper on the Healing Trooper to deny the enemy from healing. At 3:00 mins, boxes will spawn in. Lil helpers can take boxes, statues, sinners, bridge buffs, and buy at shops, including enemies, and through walls (queue the item by right clicking and send the lil helper to a shop). Putting them on a teammate will give them temporary spirit resistance. At 8:00mins Sinners will spawn and you'' want to take all of the enemies with Lil Helpers0 items
Nap Time - The Worlds Worst Stun... a Sleep
Enemies are slowed, have reduced dash distance, and cannot use movement! On god start spamming this ult as much as you can. Your pillow passive will make this available every 30-60secs. Don't be affraid to waste it, to solo ult people. I'd rather it be used to overkill than to lose a fight. Use it to initiate fights or use defensively if you need to run away. Try the combo: Pillow toss -> Sleep -> Melee -> Pillow Toss. While they're sleeping, you can wait for your cooldowns to come back before they wake up. It takes a damage threshold to wake them up, be careful of items and teammates that damage them! Level 3 will makes you unstoppable meaning you won't beable to get stunned at all.0 items
What are Investments? (Video Pinned on my Tiktok)
There are 3 category of items: Weapon (gun), Spirit (abilities), and Vitality (health and protections). Whenver you buy an item from said category, it will automatically give you bonus stats based on it's price. 800 soul spirit item will give you +7 spirit power! Upgrade it to 1600? You'll get +11. If you own two seperate 1600 soul weapon items, they'll add up 3.2k souls, meaning you'll get +18% weapon dmg. You'll want at least 4.8k minimum investment in ALL categories to get the best value, hence why I have them seperated in this build.0 items
Extra Comments - What is the BEST Build?
No two games will EVER be the same and blindly following the exact same Right -> Left build every game can eventually work against you. There will always be a "meta" item that's generally the best choice, but how you get there is going to change from game to game. Maybe you have a rough start and can't afford an expensive item yet, so you're forced to slowly build towards it. Or maybe you're insane fed and can buy whatever you want. Either way, the goal is to usually end up with those meta items by the end of the game, but the path you take to get there should adapt to the specific game your in. All builds can and have worked. All playstyles are very much do-able. Does Gun Rem work? Sure in some cases and some in not. Does Full Support Rem Work? Yes in some cases and some in not. I personally find a hybrid build of it all to be most reliable, hitting that 4.8k investment and having fun. It's a game after all, we're here to escape the real life. SleepyRem on all platforms if you'd like more guides or deadlock content.0 items
