Okay so basically its about these 4 different characters all going into a dungeon called "The Dungeon Of Fear & Hunger" and its meant to be a phyisical representation of everything evil that man can and will do, and there are a bunch of nasty freaks in the dungeon but thats not important right now, each of the 4 main playable characters are all searching for the same person but for different reasons, Cahara the mercenary is just there as a job, D'arce the knight is there to find their leader, Enki the Dark mage is searching for magical secrets, and Ragnavaldr the outlander is searching for revenge. The man all 4 of these people are looking for is named Le'Garde, AKA the Prophetic one, hes had these crazy dreams about becoming a god and went to the dungeons to find a way to do that, depending on how you play and what ending you end up with there are a few ways it can go, Le'garde can ascend but only after you and the rest of your party kill 2 of the 3 new gods, did i mention them yet? okay so in the world of fear & hunger there are a TON of gods in the old gods we have Gro-goroth the god of destruction, sylvian the god of love and fertility, the god of the depths who im not really sure what theyre a god of? if the game mentions it i dont remember, Rher the trickster moon god, and Vinuska the god of nature, if i forgot any of the old gods message me on threads @proffesionalbaggetter420. then there are the ascended gods which are all people who have ascended to true god hood unlike the stinky lame new gods (peeeee yew) in the ascended gods we have All-mer who is basically jesus but kind of mean? then we have the god of fear and hunger who was a child who knew nothing but misery after being abandonded by her dad so he could become a god the she goes down and down in the dungeons before becoming a the god of fear and hunger, last we have the sulfur god who's really only mentioned in fear and hunger 2. finally we have those stinky ass new gods i was talking about earlier, in here we gottt Francois the dominating one, Nilvan the endless one, Valtiel the enlightened one, chambara the tormented one, technically nas'hrah but he never ascended so also not really im just reading the wiki to make sure i dont forget anyone, then theres betel, the heartless one, the radiating one, and the tainted one. those are all the gods we know of right now. back to the game, so after you defeat 3 of the new gods (I messed up earlier but dont want to go all the way back and retype it) specifically valtiel, chambara, and francois, le'Garde can ascend himself into a new god known as the yellow king and later knows as the Kaiser (i think) but you can also just like, leave the dungeon after finding Le'Garde, its a pretty funny ending. every character also has their own S ending where i think ragnavaldr ascends into the god of violence? but im really not sure i havent gotten those endings yet0 items
