Playstyle notes

After the mini rework, Ivy is fantastic at provding healing, buffs, and resist shred for your team while still having really strong playmaking and crowd control. Your ult is now only a 65 second cooldown which means you can be in the air about a 3rd of the game looking for plays and following up with your team. You should also look to pick up teamates and drop them into fights due to your ult now providing you and that ally 20% outgoing damage after being dropped. Look especially to drop divers like Billy, Shiv, Silver etc. (just make sure to communicate before you abduct someone. Vortex web is fantastic at clumping enemies together before you drop your ult. Try to follow this up with actives like Alchemical Fire, Silence Wave or your 1 and 3 for tons of resist shred and debuffs on the enemies. In general, look to be very active on the map and try to set up plays to get your team ahead. Don't mindlessly farm on this build because you will just be taking money away from your carries when this build does not need that many souls to function.0 items

Why Egg

Egg gives us an insane amount of value in stats and souls income while trading off some damage during lane phase. The egg gives you a random permanent buff (like you get from statues and sinners) every 150 souls it accrues which scale in value depending on the time in the game in which you sell it. You get a tier 1 buff if you sell before 10 minutes, a tier 2 buff from minute 10-30, and a tier 3 buff after minute 30. We want to hold this item until minute 10 to get the most amount of value from this item while still avoiding a huge decrease in power from the -10% damage penalty by the time we start to teamfight. This item is great for Ivy or just supports in general because they get less income and resources than the carries. If you sell after minute 10 with the egg worth 1200 souls then you recieve 2,762 souls worth of value from the souls gained + the permanent stat increases. I usually sell the egg before I begin to roam with ult and teamfight over objectives but the longer you hold on to it the more soul value you will recieve. Just don't get too greedy with this since it is already worth a lot after 10 minutes.0 items

When to Skip 4800 Gun

I usually like going for my 4800 gun spike just because it gives me more agency on the early game as a support. I would recommend going it especially in lower mmrs or if you aren't queued in a group of people. Headhunter is very good at pushing a lead since you will be able to take more fights early game but it does delay certain big powerspikes like healing nova and vortex web. Try playing with both and if you perfer skipping the gun spike then just by stalker only. I wouldn't recommend skipping stalker just because it will mean you do basically nothing in laning phase but if you are really confident in your team you can skip that as well.0 items
