Overview of the build

The goal of this build is to farm for about 20 minutes (AFK farming but still take fights when in advantage)Then after start fighting a lot after VB and blood tribute. Lategame metal skin and disarming are your main enemy's you need to fight. Playing after your powerspike you should look for solo laners and 1 shot them with you build, in teamfights you want to play greedy and sit on the sidelines and wait for the perfect time to jump into the enemys. Its important to note its okay watching half your team die (preferable if they dont) to clean up and win the teamfight but of course try to help you teamates when you can. ( IT is a team game after all)0 items

How to use calico's Abilities as gun carry

GLOOM BOMBS - ngl useless (not joking) But its good early game damage and mainly use it for farm but honestly its biggest value is from its objective damage early to mid game against walkers and guardians but overall trash and just use it lategame for spellslinger stacks LEAPING SLASH - Amazing skill for mobility (USE vertically when escaping as lots of characters struggle going vertically up to buildings and rooftops) great engage, great disengage, good healing. HOWEVER with gun i would say don't use leaping slash out of ava form instead shoot them and save it to follow their escapes or use it to escape if the kill goes wrong. NOTE IF GREEDY TRY TO TIME IT WITH YOU KILLING THEM FOR BONUS SOULS (don't die for the bonus souls please) AVA - Arguably your best skill on calico. Ava allows you to be sneaky and mainly lets you do box runs extremely fast and gets you your private box run area (the vents/underground) She allows you to be horrifying lategame making every side lane push a gamble. Also lets you get to the mid boss boxes fast (More indepth in farming section) YOU should always try to get max amp before 1 shotting someone since who doens't like free damage? Overall OP skill that allows insane farming and escapes, it also hides you on the minimap to do silly escapes. NOTE DO NOT USE AVA TO ESCAPE WHEN IN VISION OF THE CHASING ENEMY, USE IT ONCE YOU BREAK LINE OF SIGHT(PLEASE DONT POP AVA INFRONT OF THE ENEMY AND START RUNNING USE STAMINA THEN HIDE THEN USE AVA) RETURN TO SHADOWS - Get out of jail free card skill. Use this skill to dodge important skills(Lash ult , infernus ult, Yamato power slash, etc) Due to being gun RTS (return to shadows) can be purely used for escapes or dodges, early game the damage is good but you shouldn't use it for damage unless your in a pinch. This plus etheral shift gives you 7 seconds of I-frames making you hard to deal with. (this is bassicly a free etheral shift) Overall use it to escape, use it to dodge important skills and early game for damage to try to secure a lead.0 items

Early Game - Laning phase

YOU ARE WEAK EARLY GAME. Calico IMO already has a weak early game but with this build it makes it worse, you should play safe and focus on secureing and stealing souls with your OP gun. You should also run box runs constantly (check farming/macro section for more) In lane focus on farming and avoid using leaping slash for trades instead use it only to heal quickly then to run or to use it to run away. Just mog if your laning partner starts crying about "calico is doing nothing gg somthing somthing " Im not saying to 100% AFK if you see a low enemy or wanna burger box go ahead just not you are not winning any 1v1s unless you are a burger box god or land a good parry. Overall just maximze farming for golden egg.0 items

Farming/Macro pre egg cashout

This is usually after laning phase but it can apply during it. You should be running BOX RUNS it gives lots of souls and no one does them up until like eternus. After you push your wave you should always look for a box run, i recommend looking at videos but generaly there are boxes everywhere and just walking around you can find some, a great starter place is metro (teleporter area) since it has lots of boxes and its next to midlane if you are there (you can go there even in sidelane) but box runs are king. ALSO BOX RUNS are even better on calico because she can access tunnels which has LOTS OF BOXES just for YOU and YOU only. Tunnels are extremely important and ill talk about them in a small section but the reason box runs are insane on calico is due to her having AVA, Ava gives calico lots of movement speed and can still open boxes by light meeling them in ava form. Ava form also gives movespeed AND regen so its great for after clearing waves. Your goal after laning phase is to try to get a solo lane (its 100% okay if you dont) but just catch waves then after you shove wave to their walker or guardian ( only take if like 4-5 show on the other side of the map but still risky for early game calico) go out and do boxes TO MAXIMIZE EGG YOU NEED TO DO THIS. as most characters Tier 3 camps take too long to properly unless you deal that much damage (wraith and seven can do tier 3's since they take it so fast) As calico you should skip tier ones (only doing them during laning phase) and instead focus on Boxes and ONLY tier 2 camps, tier 1 camps give too little to justify and tier 3's take too long to properly do as calico. So you wanna run around catching waves and then going for box runs and tier 2 camps. FEED THE EGG.0 items

Mid Game/POWERSPIKE

GET VB AND BLOOD TRIBUTE YOU ARE INSANE. ATP if the enemy isn't fed you can genuinely walk people down, just note how fed they are and how strong they are. At this point also you should start joining urn fights and teamfights since you don't have the burdern of golden egg. Pick off alone targets in sidelane using vents and consider buying slowing hex if you are 1v1ing high movement characters (mina, apollo, grey talon) You shoud still play with your team but go for solo kill constantly, if the enemy is slightly over extended while their team is on the other side of the map go ahead, just try not to fight multiple people at once, you can but you probably wont kill most of them. Use this strength to catch up for what you missed and to get revenge on the people who bullied you early game. Be a meance and snowball out of control. ALWAYS THINK OF BUYING A CHEAP COUNTER ITEM AGAINST THEIR FED CARRY (SLOW, DISARM, ETC)0 items

#Citadel_HeroBuilds_LateGame

Once you get Glass cannon and lucky shot you will be 100-0 people in 2-3 seconds. The reason you buy these items is that most guns in deadlock usually are pretty well rounded but some like paiges are great in almost every stat (perfect levels) but have one HORRID stat for paige that is bullet velocity, for calico its bullet damage. The issue with these is if you build for your guns weakness well your just left with a really op gun. Lucky and Glass cannon fix calicos damage problems and give her a bigger reward for her to go for kills (glass cannon stacks) At any point after these two you can build any counter item but i would say follow L > R is what i would do. This build also has 1 free counter item slot. Use this slot for any lategame item you would need GIGA LATEGAME you would also sell split shot for another counter slot as you bassicly have inf money and ricochet to cover for AOE damage.0 items

Late Game - playstyle

Your goal lategame or powerspike mid game is to find isolated targets and kill them in a 100-0 and once you get it try to maximize your glass cannon stacks. In teamfights you need to wait for the perfect moment to engage, what this properly means is you want to wait for all ultimates to go out then engage after. (WAIT OUT LASH, INFERNUS, EVERYONES ULT BEFORE ENGAGING). When going for a solo kill just remember what the enemy can do to you and plan accordingly (IF ITS A LADY GEIST TRY SPACING HER FOR EXAMPLE) The later the game goes you honestly just get stronger and stronger. Always just try to grab farm when you can and try not to get jumped.0 items

Metal skin - As seen above etheral shift is the best against mutiple metal skin users since what you want to do is to bait them to use metal skin (start shooting them to scare them to use it but hold actives) If your fighting 1-2 Metal skin users cursed relic is overall better since it fully removes it and just makes everything flow like usual. (TLDR: WAIT IT OUT, ETHERAL SHIFT HELPS WAITING OUT METAL SKIN) DISARMING HEX - UNSTOPPABLE FIXES THIS, if there are mutiple unstoppable is amazing for the active and THE DEBUFF RESIST + BLOOD TRIBUTES MAKES IT LAST ONLY 3 SECONDS MAKING IT BEARABLE. Always pop unstoppable before your main engage and watch them throw 50 disarms and curses at you. Dispel can help early game or against 1-2 disarmings but try to buy unstoppable if you can against teams who buy 100000 disarms, also stops cursed relic so goated item to buy CURSED RELIC - There are really only two counters, counterspell and unstoppable. If there is more than 2 honestly just give up but unstoppable fixes this problem but counterspell can help against smarter enemys who wait for unstoppable to end (pop blood tribute so you debuff resist so its shorter) PLATED ARMOUR/BULLET RES - against plated armour sadly you will have to get armour piercing rounds to counter but its worth it, for bullet res crippling headshot can help but any bullet shreds can work0 items
