FAQ: What core do I replace for actives?

Both titanic and the 4.8 gun items can easily be sold late game for flex spots or actives like knockdown, especially late game since your gun damage is negligible. Items like lightning scroll and diviner's kevlar can also be replaced for more supportive actives like scourge, curse, and divine barrier. If you want to play more wombo heavy with echo shard I recommend swapping out your gun items earlier so you can get your wombo online.0 items

FAQ: What 4.8 gun spike item should I pick?

If you are unsure of which 3200 gun item to go or if you are new / learning ivy I would recommend starting with headhunter. The item is very self sufficient and a really good mix of safety and damage. If you have a better understanding of your characters limits then tesla bullets is really nice for having more kill pressure with your team early game since that item is extremely souls efficient for damage on ivy due to her gun's high base firerate. Heroic aura and alchemical fire work better in higher mmr games due to your teamates being better able to captitalize on your shred or bullet resist provided by those items but lack some self sufficiency provided by tesla and headhunter.0 items

FAQ: How do I play Ivy?

Ivy is a very weak laner and does not provide much kill threat early so your goal in lane should be to survive and stall out your guardian for as long as possible. Your goal in fights is to provide heal and peel for your higher soul carries and to also USE YOUR ULT TO PICK UP TEAMATES FOR THE DAMAGE AMP. A ton of players still do not know Ivy ult provides 20% increased damage for you AND the person you pick up for 8 seconds after you drop them (even longer when we get ability duration items!). Make sure to pick up your carries and drop them into fights it is a huge part of this hero's power which many people still forget to do. Look for roams early and utilize the fact that you have a global ult. Trophy stacks matter alot on this hero because she loves ability range so try to be involved in kills and don't just sit in a lane farming the whole game!0 items
